Tic Tac Tots Shoppe is a classifieds website directory catering solely to baby and toddler items! A place where you will find the trendiest nursery decor, furniture, clothing, Maternity and other baby essentials, all at impeccable prices from our fellow members!
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I felt compelled to create the site from scratch, because I was lost when it came to searching for inexspensive products for my own children at a fair deal! And like myself, I met many people over time who were frustrated with straight auction sales. The sites although genuine, often contain harsh policies and/or require a credit card to join! And while this may be a more convenient way for the host of a particular site to aquire validility of a persons idenity, not all users hold a major credit card in their name, so membership status is not possible. Here at Tic Tac Tots, it is not a requirment to join the classifieds website!
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Tic Tac Tots Shoppe was recently launched in the winter months of 2008.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
Well tots, as in babies and toddlers. Tic Tac Toe as the connection idea. Thus the name is meaningful in it's classifieds connective way.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We are strictly a classfieds website catering solely to the baby population. A site where you can Buy, Sell, Trade and even Donate to your own community!
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep membership status happy and over customer relationships satisfied.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I am not looking for major profit, but rather seek only to help my members fnd those great deal at impeccable prices! And to allow those members who wish the freedom to post many of their own items without limitation!
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
There isn't anything I would want to change at this time!
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I sure would! It would meanthe world to me to know that I helped so many people connect nationally!
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Trouble with finding the right classifieds and website host! But, I think I've finally found the right people!
What has been your biggest challenge?
Site development! But, I did it!!
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
The referral process!
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It is rewarding when I see happy members become successful Users through out their transactions!
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It is brand new, but I do not plan to end it any time in the near future!
Do you anticipate fast growth in population on your site within the next week?
YES!!
