Please give us a short summary of your website?

Mamizeit is a website primarily directed towards international mums living in Switzerland for any length of time and with children of all ages. Any mother who moves with her family to Switzerland is likely to experience challenges of both cultural and social art. Mamizeit wants in a small way to make this transition a little easier and more comfortable by providing information concerning family life in Switzerland such as "childcare" and "family activities". In addition to information on Switzerland, Mamizeit also wishes to bring You diverse articles and comments on life for Your reading enjoyment. The site will be updated on a monthly basis.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I am an expat myself and would have wanted this information when i moved here.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

We went several rounds but decided upon "mamizeit" because it for us, spoke of both time for being a mother and also time-out from motherhood.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

In addition to information on Switzerland for expats, we bring articles for reading enjoyment. Experiences on expat life and everyday life. We offer more than just links.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

What has been your biggest challenge?

Time

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We went online the 29`th of February 08.
