Mylittlecloset offers variety of baby clothes and children clothing of good quality at fair price from newborn until 7 years of age. We add new collection to our baby clothes and children clothing from time to time and constantly review our prices to give you the best possible offer and shopping experience at our store.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Being a mother, looking for my children clothes always frustrated me in the past; I either ended up paying too much for clothes that are nice and comfortable or have to settle with a less costly one but ended up not satisfied. I know a lot of parents face the same situation out there and I was hoping that something can be done about it. Anyway, we parents do not shop for our children clothes for our own pleasure. Our children grow everyday and that makes shopping for their clothes are neccessities, and I truly believe that every child only deserve the best from their parents.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
mylittlecloset.com is my first website and it was launched in November 2008
How did you decide on a name for your website?
After sometime of thinking, I think this mylittlecloset.com is the best name. It is nice, short and describe what we are selling and our target age group - our cute little children!
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Mylittlecloset.com is a website inspired by a parent to give the best to her own children. Because of this, we only choose the best clothes. We also try to give the best possible picture of what we are selling. You can see that every cloth has its measurement and additional pictures taken at various angles so you can make the best choice. We try our best to make your shopping experience with us as lively as possible.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I hope to be able to continue doing this with my customers' continous support
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I think that I am lucky to have time for my family and myself and seeing mylittlecloset grow at the same time
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would like to add more baby related product, making mylittlecloset.com a one-stop baby store solution, with live help for parents for any children related issues
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, I am very sure with my dedicated and hardworking team I am having
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Finding a good supplier.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Building peoples confidence in mylittlecloset.com. Unlike retail store where you can touch and feel the items you are purchasing, you have to bring the item you are selling as closest as posssible to your customers from a distant place.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Blogging and also offline marketing

More challenging than I had thought
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
6 months. Maybe another year or two - working harder of course.
