Center for Learning Interview

By Interviewer at 04/17/09 04:28

Name of your website?

Center for Learning

Your name?

Connie Wright

Your Location (city, etc)

Los Angles

Please give us a short summary of your website?

My site has a mission statement, an educational therapy, a psychotherapy, location, and professional background for 5 pages.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I want to reach out to more parents who have children with learning difficulties.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

IIt was in 2007 and it is the same one as mentioned above.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The complete name is the Center for the Prevention of Learning Difficulties. I took the most important words and shortened it.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

There are very few people who bring together the psychotherapy and special educational therapy components together.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I would like to teach and counsel parents as well as children to become their own tutor and counselor.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I put twice as much work into my work and am not as interested in the financial success. I am extremely satisfied with the success of the children whom I see.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would add more pages, add more color and my own pictures.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

No.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Not many yet.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Finding a site that I can afford.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

None yet.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Not at all.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I will keep it up until I retire.

What is your website address?

Center for Learning
