What inspired you to launch your own website?
I am a parent of two and wanted to gather parents around the world to come together to ask and answer questions.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
It was launched in dec 2006 but was revamped in June 2007.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
child related. And of course the word "central" means just as it says.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Its just like answers.yahoo.com but with a focus on children and parenting. And the answers are of higher quality than yahoo which diverse in topics.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To keep it. but if selling make sense...will consider.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Its already in profit

traffic has been moderate. but a little slower in growth as i like it to be.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
for as long as i can....
