"Parenting advice and resources for successful parenting. Providing parents the helpful, concise information and selected expert references needed to raise healthy, happy children."

Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?

I am the Mother of five children from ages 14 to 5. As an experienced "Mom" it is my desire to help other parents raise happy, healthy, responsible children.

What blogging platform do you do and why?

I blog about parenting because my husband and five children are my life and I want to help other parents be successful. I also appreciate the fact that I can stay home with my kids, blog about what I love and get paid doing it! Life is good!

What do you blog the most about?

Parenting!

What kind of blogs make you angry?

I really don't read enough blogs to have a solid opinion about the whole blog perspective, but I do know that I try and stay away from negative, derogatory and crude stuff.

Give five of your best blogging tips.

Keep it short and sweet! Tell it like it really is focusing on the positive. Whenever possible, incorporate the humorous. Stay away from negativity. Consider your audience and what they really would want to know about the subject.

What are some things you would NEVER blog about?

Sex, porn, religion (unless it was my own) alcohol, coffee, tabbacco, gambling, and anything else that I really don't believe in.

Did you start blogging for the purpose of making money and if so, are you making enough money?

I blog for money and I make enough for now. I would like to make more in the future.

How long have you been blogging?

About a year.

About how many hours per day do you spend blogging?

We have a team of bloggers, so I probably write one blog every two weeks.

Do you track RSS feeds and if so, how many do you usually track daily?

My boss probably does that. I don't

Do you use Digg, and why or why not?

I don't, my boss might.

Do you use Stumbleupon, and why or why not?

I don't, my boss might.

What promotional techniques work best for you and why?

Catchy headline and humor attracts readers, especially stay at home parents who need a good laugh.

If you could post a blog on any blog in the world, which one would it be and why?

Travel, providing that my travel expenses got paid for. I have always wanted to travel a bit more than what I do.

What mistakes have you made that you could warn others about?

Don't talk so much about yourself and your life. Consider your audience and what they would want to know and hear about what you know that they might not know.

What are your top five blogging site picks and why?

I don't have any favorites, with five kids I don't want to spend my time reading other blogs. I just like writing for my boss.

Have you met anyone offline as a result of your blog?

No.
